Glycolic Fitness Pads (5% and 10%) Instructions
Active Ingredient: Glycolic Acid (25 single use pads) for external use only.
Individual pads make each application simple and consistent. Please use the following guidelines when applying:
Starting with the forehead, smooth the pad around the perimeter of the face, and then apply across the cheeks and nose. Avoid the eye area.
Time for two minutes and neutralize well by rinsing thoroughly with clear water. Preferred method for neutralizing is to shower off the glycolic acid.
Dispose of the pad after single use.
Note: When applying pads, a stinging or burning sensation is normal and will stop after neutralization with water.
A thorough rinsing neutralizes (stops) the action of the glycolic acid. Rinse especially well in the nasal labial folds (crease of the nose), hairline, and around the mouth.
The benefit of Vivant's Glycolic Fitness Pads is the active ingredient, glycolic acid. This ingredient is not buffered, and therefore the full benefit of the glycolic acid in these strengths is optimized. Buffering or neutralizing the glycolic acid, as is done in many products, reduces its effectiveness.
Glycolic Fitness Pads can be used in combination with other Vivant Vitamin A products, (Derm-A-Gel, Exfol A and Exfol A Forte), to hasten the rejuvenation of the backs the hands, the neck and the chest. These products can be used immediately following a Glycolic treatment, but some stinging may occur. The neck area is extremely sensitive and use should be limited to 5% and for only one minute.
