Skin Toners / Facial Toners
The most important reason you should tone is to prepare the skin for precise absorption of skin conditioners. Skin toners dissolves dead skin cells that remain after cleansing. It also clears residue contaminants and helps to better control oil production through the astringent effect. Skin toners also help to prevent future breakouts caused by environmental conditions.

Skin toners will enhance the overall cleanliness of the skin by removing dead skin cells, dirt, oil, and any residue from cleanses or the environment. Skin toners contain AHAfs that may damage clothing. The preferred applicator for skin toners is cotton ball or cotton pads. Do not use a terry cloth. Sensitive skin could react differently to skin toners and should use a mild skin toner.
